How we use your information
Effective October 7, 2026
The short version: we collect your email, and anything else you choose to add, so we can send you Pit Prep updates and launch news. We don't sell it, we don't use ad trackers, and you can unsubscribe or ask us to delete your information at any time.
Who we are
The Pit Prep is an interview prep service for sales and trading. You can reach us at hello@thepitprep.com.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist, we save:
- Your email address (required)
- The desk you're recruiting for, where you are now, and your school, only if you choose to share them
- How you found us, such as a link from Instagram or TikTok
- Your approximate country, based on your internet connection
- The date you signed up
This site doesn't use cookies, analytics tools or advertising trackers.
How we use it
- To send you waitlist updates, early access and launch news
- To understand who is interested, such as which desks and schools, so we build the right content
We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Who else handles it
We use a small number of service providers to run the site:
- Cloudflare hosts this website and stores the waitlist.
- Google Fonts delivers the fonts on this page, so your browser shares your IP address with Google when the page loads.
- An email service, when we send updates, receives the email addresses we send to.
We may also share information if the law requires it.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe anytime using the link in any email we send.
- See, correct or delete your information by emailing hello@thepitprep.com. We'll respond within 30 days.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while you're on the waitlist or a Pit Prep user. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, we remove it from the waitlist.
Security and location
Your information is stored with Cloudflare and protected by access controls. Only The Pit Prep can export the waitlist. Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries.
Children
The Pit Prep is meant for college students and adults. It isn't intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we use your information, we'll update this page and the date above. For significant changes, we'll let waitlist members know by email.
